MAYA SCIENCEAstronomy
GOOD MORNING Students
Tuesday 22 April 2020 Welcome back to school! Yes, we are still online, and so is the rest of the WORLD! We learn everyday, and so our education continues. Yesterday the school posted the new schedule. I am attaching it here in case you did not see. On the schedule there is a BIG word ASYNCHRONOUS. It simple means, not fixed or rigid in time. So it means that we will learn on our own time and use the opportunities we have. So every Tuesday and Thursday for the coming weeks I will be available online between 8:30 am and 11:30am. You can ask questions or make comments anytime you wish. Also I have posted the assignment on MAYA SCIENCE-Astronomy in the google Classwork section of this classroom. It is great to be back and I hope you are doing well, keeping safe and learning everyday! yasser musa, teacher CLICK ON IMAGE BELOW for short video clip of CHICHEN ITZA, Mexico |

The Great Human Odyssey explores the unlikely survival and the miraculous emergence of Homo sapiens as the world’s only global species. Ancient climate research has revealed that we evolved during the most volatile era since the extinction of the dinosaurs. Just like the many other kinds of human who once shared our world, we should have died away. Instead, our species survived to populate every corner of the planet, against all the odds.
